APD 2024 SEOUL

The APD Awards is the inaugural international award that selects the most outstanding package design in Asia. This will be a congregation of package design professionals and a showcase of the finest works in Asia. At APD, we will also be introducing the latest trends and topics related to package design in the participating regions, namely South Korea, Shanghai, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand and Indonesia. Through the APD Awards, we aim to enhance interaction between designers and companies in the package design industry.

Awards Selection

Selected Works	• The APD Awards are open to distributed merchandise packages or creative package works • Selected from the gallery exhibition works of APD Seoul participants
About Judging	A total of Twelve entries, two from each organization, will be given awards. Awards and merits will be decided based on the number of votes from a panel of jury representing each Association(KPDA / SPTA / TPDA / JPDA / ThaiPDA / ADGI). • GRAND PRIZE, GOLD AWARD, SILVER AWARD and BRONZE AWARD will be announced at the APD Seoul Conference. • Award winners will receive a certificate and a trophy.
Judging Criteria	Please respect the local features of the works and judge fairly based on the following criteria: • Innovation: High level of originality that defines conventions • Aesthetics: Aesthetically pleasing beauty that forms attachment with users • Social and Environmental Responsibility: A comprehensive and sustainable approach that considers environmental impact of materials used and influence on society
